Dave Garland - President

Over the past few years Dave Garland, the President of SIGN DESIGN, has engaged in a process of creating a new direction for his firm - a customer -centered, high-quality, service organization that is streamlined, integrated, focused on its core business, and accountable for its results.

To develop and implement this strategic business direction Dave relies on his extensive business experience with some of Canada's larger corporations, such as Motorola Inc., the Bank of Montreal and Black Photo

Corp., as well as his association with the Whitby Chamber of Commerce, the Durham Home Builders Association, and other community organizations.

Dave is a person with strong family values, he is university educated, and he is a leader in the community. He is a past-President of the Rotary Club of Whitby Sunrise, one of the most dynamic Rotary Clubs in Ontario. Further, Dave is a firm believer in giving back to the community which has given him so much, through countless hours of volunteer work and financial support for community groups such as the Sunrise Youth Group for Developmentally Handicapped Young Men and Women, the Kids Safety Village of Durham Region, and Big Brothers of Metropolitan Toronto to name a few.

Dave lives in Whitby, Ontario, is married to Sandra and has two children.
